The purpose of the New River Valley Bike Map is to display bike trails and other features that are part of the cycling environment of the New River Valley in Southwest Virginia. The map was created for a web mapping class in the Geography Department at Virginia Tech.

The map uses the OpenLayers API and uses layers provided by a collaborative mapping project called OpenStreetMap. You can help map the New River Valley by visiting the OSM website!
